Ep 10 - Laughter’s The Best Medicine & Kiss Kiss Bang Bang

Rufus is a standup comedian who, sadly, isn’t very funny.  But every week he’s up on stage cracking jokes for an indifferent audience and hecklers.  Then she walks in.  A woman so beautiful she stops him cold, mid-act.  And the trouble she brings into the comedy club with her entangles Rufus in a sinister criminal enterprise that isn’t any laughing matter.

And for their film talk, Chris and Will discuss the merits of the comedy-noir Kiss Kiss Bang Bang starring Robert Downey Jr., Val Kilmer, and Michelle Monaghan.  Director Shane Black’s loving comedic sendup of the private detective genre is a fun examination of hard-boiled conventions.
